The Chefs that we support, who inspire the world

At Ryda Knives, our blades are only half the story. The other half lives in the hands of those who bring them to life — the chefs, creators, and culinary visionaries who inspire us daily.

Erik Videgård

Erik Videgård is undoubtedly one of Sweden’s most recognized chefs. He is widely credited with introducing authentic Chinese cuisine to Sweden and makes it with perfection. Anyone who watches morning television in Sweden would instantly recognize him. Erik has authored numerous cookbooks and possesses a unique ability to connect with his audience, which explains his frequent appearances on countless Nordic television programs.

Compared to many other public figures I’ve met, Erik stands out as a genuinely friendly and open-minded human with a big heart. Our collaboration with Erik began early in the journey of Ryda Knives. He has been an invaluable partner, testing our various knife models before anyone else. We’ve also had the pleasure of creating some wonderful films together that we are proud of showing you.

We are deeply honored that he understands and appreciates our work, and that he genuinely likes our knives.

Danny Khezzar

Danny Khezzar is one of France’s dynamic young chef stars who has quickly made a name for himself. With his distinctive cooking style and unique approach, he has captured the hearts of the entire country in a short amount of time.

Beyond his role as a chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant @Bayview by Michel Roth, Danny travels the world, creating culinary magic. Reservations for his tables are consistently booked solid. His cuisine is innovative and he is therefore known for his audacity in the kitchen offering such no one else would do.

His fame increased after reaching the finals of the French TV show Top Chef in 2022. Since then, he has published a cookbook and maintains a highly active presence on social media, where he teaches and inspires his 750k followers worldwide.

Our collaboration with Danny spans several years, and we are proud to support his work and his exceptional approach to food. We invite you to be inspired by his culinary artistry as well!

Katja Palmdahl

She’s often called the cooking queen of Sweden’s west coast, and for good reason. For decades, Katja Palmdahl brought joy and inspiration to countless people through her incredible food. Her amazing cookbooks have truly preserved the essence of West Coast Swedish cuisine. In fact, in 2013, one of her cookbooks, Nordens Bästa Mat (The Best Food of the Nordics), even won the prestigious award for “Best Cookbook in the World.”

As a chef myself, I was always inspired by her food, especially her pioneering use of vegetables. She used them extensively into her dishes long before many others in the Swedish culinary scene, truly being ahead of her time in many ways. Her track record in culinary competitions is legendary, and whenever she makes an appearance on TV, people like me are always thrilled. That’s because I know she rather prefers to be in the kitchen than in front of a camera.

If you ever visit Sweden, make sure you don’t miss the chance to experience her food at one of the restaurants she’s involved with!

Martina Tenz

In my opinion, Martina Tenz is one of Italy’s most exceptional food creators (??) Early in Ryda Knives’ journey, we connected with her. I reached out, wondering if she’d be willing to try some of my new designs and share her feedback.

The rest, as they say, is history. She likes our knives, and we absolutely adore her food.

With her unique approach, Martina creates the most astonishing culinary art. She shares her wisdom with over 450k followers, and also teaches others how to recreate her stunning dishes through various platforms like Gronda and YouTube. Unlike many other chefs, she often focuses on private catering for special occasions, making her work truly exclusive.

Her talent is genuinely amazing, and the best part is that you can learn directly from her!

If you haven’t seen her food, now’s the time to discover this amazing chef! Tora Olsson is, in my opinion, one of the best food video creators out there. With her unique style, she’ll absolutely mesmerize you, and her food looks out of this world.

Ivari Vokk

Ivari Vokk, the winner of MasterChef Estonia 2023, is truly something special. We actually got to know Ivari through one of our retailers, who told us he uses and loves our knives. It was a great honor, and even more special, that this connection came to us as a complete surprise!

Starting in 2025, we’re thrilled to announce that we received an honorable request to support the MasterChef Estonia program with our knives – a request that came directly from the show’s chefs themselves. And of course, we’re more than happy to do it!
